Unified Sports League Birmingham is an inclusive program in the Greater Birmingham Area that brings neurodivergent and non-disabled individuals together as teammates in team sports. It fosters friendship, mutual understanding, and a shared love for the game.
Beginning in January 2026, games will be played on Sunday afternoons, but they are subject to change. Games will be hosted at the Levite JCC at 3960 Montclair Rd, Birmingham, AL 35213. Games are supposed to last around an hour, with two 15 minute running-clock halves and a halftime break.
Unified Birmingham is a basketball league designed for both neurodivergent and non-disabled students in middle school through high school. The league is completely free, meaning there is no sign-up fee and uniforms will be provided. Use our sign up page to enter information about your child, including name, school, grade, and any other information you would like us to know!
This waiver outlines the general terms, conditions, and responsibilities associated with participation in program activities. By signing, you acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activity, agree to release and hold harmless the organizers and facilities from liability, accept responsibility for medical care, and consent to the use of photographs taken during program events.
Unified Sports is an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations or sponsorships will directly fund our mission to foster inclusion and serve our community. Your contributions will help us meet our goal of providing a first-class experience for our amazing participants, including top-of-the-line uniforms!
